La Brasserie Des Artistes @ Whistler Village

La Brasserie Des Artistes Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Location: 4232 Village Stroll,Whistler, BC V0N1B4

By Whistler standards, La Brasserie Des Artistes is a relatively cheap place to get food & drink. It is very casual; you sit where ever you see that is clean and vacant. When you sit on the open patio, there is hardly any barrier between you and the tourists strolling in the village.

We only saw one active server during dinner time, but the service was not as slow as expected. Yay (?)

For food, we ordered Mussels & Frites, and the Harmony Burger ($20.95 and $14.95 respectively).

There really isn’t much to say about the Mussels & Frites. The sauce changes daily, and we had a cream-based onion sauce. It was so-so all around.

On the other hand, the Harmony Burger was perhaps one of the best burgers I’ve had in recent memory! It had a juicy beef patty, fresh vegetables, pickles, and lamb bacon. The most special component of the Harmony Burger was the sauce – mint chutney; a.k.a. lamb’s best friend. Harmony indeed!

Greek Food @ Felicos

Felicos Restaurant Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Location: 8140 Leslie Road, Richmond

Felicos has been around for three decades and counting, and it still looks very new today! Inside, everything is clean and spacious. The ambiance was classy (as in you can have a romantic date here), but not overly posh. Their service is still friendly and efficient.

Tonight, out of laziness and indecisiveness, we decided to order a platter for two – the Felicos Platter ($44.95). It came with a little bit of everything: Greek salad, hummus, shrimp cocktail, chicken and lamb souvlakia, crab cakes, calamari, rice, vegetables, and potatoes. Whew~ long list!

Unexpectedly (lol), the food didn’t come as one giant pile. Instead, our platter was served as a two course meal: salad & appetizers, and then the rest.

Overall, the Felicos Platter was tasty and filling (especially if you top off with a basket or two of pitas). Our favorite item out of the platter was the crab & shrimp cake. It was buttery, hot, and well-seasoned. *Drools*. We would prefer if the lamb souvlaki wasn’t grilled to well-done, but it was still tender and moist enough. The calamari was lightly-breaded, so we didn’t feel guilty at all about overindulgence. 😛
