Address: 5830 Beach Ave, Peachland, BC
During our trip to Kelowna, we stopped by Peachland to grab lunch. Beach Ave Cafe is a casual place to order tapas, and enjoy the lakeside view.
Chorizo Patatas Bravas – $13
We didn’t feel like getting our fingers greasy (i.e. eating ribs or chicken wings), so we ordered things that can be effortlessly eaten with a fork :D. This was a classic dish consisting of cubed potatoes and chorizo, topped with a spicy tomato sauce + aioli. Though flavourful, this dish was too heavy to finish towards the end.
Savory Crepe – “West Coast of Peachland” – $14 (for large, 12″ crepe)
This was one of the many sweet or savory crepe options on the menu. True to its name, this crepe does represent the West Coast very well with an ingredient like smoked salmon. The inside was also filled with spinach and a dill cream cheese. On the outside, the crepe was drizzled with a bright lemon aioli. We were very pleased with the flavour balance.
